The Raffle will be held on Sunday afternoon, and you must be present to win. Raffle tickets are $2 each and
can be purchased at the registration desk throughout the day on Friday and Saturday and Sunday. There may be additional prizes that are not listed. IRVA is not responsible for lost, stolen or withdrawn entries. We would like to thank the generous organizations and individuals who contributed
to the 2011 Conference Raffle.
Raffle-Nevada Law:
Raffle tickets are not considered a charitable contribution exempt from taxation. Why? Because raffles are basically
considered a type of lottery. This means that a product or service must be purchased as a condition for entry and
participation. As such, raffle tickets are treated as proof of gaming more than a contribution.
IRVA suggests that you consult with your tax advisor.
